description
These authentic vintage Wedgwood pieces belong to a historical commemorative series commissioned specifically for Yale University. Manufactured by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons, they were produced at their historic Etruria, England pottery. The series, titled The Branford Founder's House of 1701, commemorates the historic home in Branford, Connecticut, where ten Congregational ministers met in 1701 to donate their books and found the Collegiate School, which later became Yale University.
