WHAT IS YOUR SHOP’S PHILOSOPHY?
Here at Homesong Market we believe that homemaking is heart-shaping, and that the time and energy you fold into creating your sacred space is one of the most precious gifts you can give those you love and care about. With this in mind, we have carefully sourced and curated both secondhand and sustainable home goods with simplicity, beauty, and utility woven into the fabric of all that we offer.
As a shop that values our close connection with the earth, we invite you to slow down with us to tune into the rhythms of the seasons. In doing so, you will find that the small yet meaningful rituals you repeat within your home everyday are what truly add up to living a mindful life. Considering the quality of what you bring into your home is where we can help you begin this more intentional way of living.
WHY SHOULD I BUY SECONDHAND HOME GOODS FROM THE FLEA MARKET?
Choosing to buy secondhand is not only a soulful way to make your home as you are purchasing something that has been previously loved, but a sustainable one too. By making the conscious choice to support small shops like this one that sell secondhand goods, you are caring for the earth by supporting the reuse of something that still adds value to one's daily life. So many home goods are tossed to the curb these days, and many of them still beautiful and useful. This thoughtful way of buying reduces the need to manufacture a new item, thereby saving resources and reducing waste.
WHY SHOULD I BUY SUSTAINABLE HOME GOODS?
Buying sustainable home goods is one significant way you can care for the earth in the rhythm of your day to day where you live. By considering eco-friendly materials such as organic linen, recycled cotton, wood, olive oil, palm, and glass you are making a conscious choice to care for our planet as a mindful homemaker, as these materials can break down and safely return to their original home, the soil. Buying sustainable home goods also creates a healthier living space for your family.
