Meet Poppy! This "Dresden Plate" design quilt set is so playful and fun! Perfect for a playroom or summer bedroom, these pieces bring sunshine with them. Looking into the history of the design showcased here- the Dresden plate quilt block design made its debut in the 1920s, and was first published as a pattern in the 1930s. In the past, the pattern was sometimes called other names as well, such as Grandmother’s Sunburst, Aster, Dahlia, and Sunflower, though these other names are rarely used now with Dresden being the commonly preferred term.
