This vintage jacquard coverlet textile is a beautiful piece of history. Made with wool and cotton fibers, these woven textiles were pioneered by Joseph-Marie Jacquard in the early 19th century and involve intricate patterns woven directly into the fabric. We love the burgundy and tan palette that brings such warmth to its intricate and gorgeous design. We have not washed this primitive coverlet due to the delicate nature of this textile, but we will include details of care instructions should you desire.
