What a gorgeous summery quilt to brighten up the end of a bed! Hand-stitched with the sweetest fabrics, we think this piece is absolutely charming. The double wedding ring quilt pattern is a symbol of love and romance that dates back to the late 19th century.
The interlocking rings in the pattern represent marriage, and the quilt was often given as a gift by mothers and grandmothers to their children on their wedding day or anniversary. The design was most popular during the Great Depression, but quilts with this pattern are still found as prized pieces in many collections today.
This piece is in really lovely condition overall with a couple of very small stains as shown in photos.
