A gorgeous framed print featuring bluebell flowers. This print is from a color engraving titled Campanule Clochette by P.J. Redouté. This engraving comes from Choix des plus belle fleurs, published in 1827.
The publication included 144 color engravings of plant life and was dedicated to princesses Louise and Marie d’Orléans. A beautifully detailed frame surrounds this print, with a triple mat including a sumptuously saturated deep blue surrounding an elegant matte gold that echos the frame.
